SKYZ

PROJECT BRIEF
SKYZ is an interactive mobile app, integrating the current weather and the users calendar events in one easy to use innovative application. SKYZ utilizes a wheel scroll feature to navigate through the day to visualize how the weather changes. As well as seeing where the days events fall within weather changes.

PROJECT GOALS
USER RESEARCH

72% of people surveyed use their calendar everyday.
85% of people surveyed view the weather at least once a day.
82% of people surveyed have had to change plans due to weather changes.
USER PERSONAS
NAME: JAKE

USER FLOW
While using a weather app it's important for the user to be able to easily navigate through the current weather and upcoming weather. As well as quickly being able to compare planned events with the weather during the time of the scheduled events. Lastly having the ability to send out alerts to friends as easy as possible.

SKETCHES & WIREFRAMES
While building the wireframes I referred back to my user flow and user personas to understand the interests of multiple types of users. The app needed to be user friendly and easy to navigate, meeting various user needs.
VISUAL DIRECTION
SKYZ theme is bright, incorporating non traditional weather application colors. Allowing the innovative app to stand out and captivate the users attention. Using color association of time of day based on sky colors.
